I don't know about you guys, but I love having an advent calendar during December as it makes me feel festive. Also, they make your morning so much more exciting, since you can open one of the doors and receive a gift. Usually, I get the chocolate calendars, but this year I decided to change it up a little and buy a beauty one. The one I got was the Tanya burr released, along with her new makeup range.

Tanya Burr Cosmetics 12 Days Of Christmas Beauty calendar- £15 from Superdrug!

Since this only has 12 days out of the month, I decided to open one every other day. I got mine from Superdrug as it was the cheapest place I could find it! The calendar comes with full sized products and eye shadows that can only be purchased within this calendar, meaning it’s great value for money! Another thing I love about it is the packaging! 

But on the flip side, I found it hard to get some of the products out and after I opened one door, they all started to open slightly.

Anyway, think this is a great bargain and I hope she brings out another one next year!

Hello! As it's almost Christmas, I thought I would do show you a couple of DIY treats! These are very easy to make so they won't be very time consuming. I hope you enjoy, and feel free to make your own:)

These cute Candy Cane Hearts are one of my favorite simple Christmas treats. They’re a perfect addition to a plate of Christmas cookies and they are so simple.

Ingredients

•A box of mini candy canes-Try to get the ones with a dull finish (not the shiny ones) as the shiny ones tend to get really sticky after a couple of days!

•White and milk Chocolate

•Sprinkles

•A baking sheet

Directions

1.  Place waxed paper or a baking sheet.

2.  Lay two mini candy canes next to each other, creating a heart.  Continue filling the baking sheet with heart shapes.

3.  Melt the white and semi-sweet chocolates (in separate bowls), using short intervals in the microwave, or in a double boiler.

4.  When the chocolate are melted, pour into a piping bag or thicker ziplock type bag. Cut off a tiny tip from the bag, and begin filling in the heart shapes with chocolate. Personally I don't mix the flavour of chocolate together, I put the milk chocolate in one and the white in the other.

5.  After adding your chocolate to the hearts, top with sprinkles of your choice.

6.  Set the baking sheet (of chocolate filled hearts) in a cool place while the chocolate cools. Once cool, remove hearts from baking sheet and store in an airtight container.

These Santa strawberries are almost to cute to eat! They are simple, super festive, and look great on any Christmas treat plate. 

Ingredients

•Strawberries (bare in mind the one strawberry makes one Santa)

•1 cup whipped cream

•A handful of chocolate sprinkles

Directions

1.Using a pairing knife, slice the leafy end off each strawberry so they stand up evenly. Then slice the tip off to make a little hat.

2.Using a spoon or a large icing tip, place a large dollop of whipped cream on top of the strawberry base. 

3.Plop the little hat on top. Then add another small amount of whipped cream to the tip of the hat to make a pom-pom.

4.Place two chocolate sprinkles in the Santas "face" (the first layer of whipped cream) to make the eyes. 

5.Using a toothpick, place two very small splotches of whipped cream down the front of the strawberry for buttons. 

6.After you have finished making them, store them in a fridge to keep them cold or eat them!

Hello! Today I thought I would do a haul for you guys as I've never done one on here and I've recently got a few new things.

I went shopping a few days ago and of course, I had to pop into lush. So, I picked up some shower jellies as I've never bought them before. Stupidly, I didn't smell the Santa belly one and now I hate it! It is red and has little stars inside. As for the other one, it is plain blue and smells very fresh and minty.

In my last blog, I did a review on this! It is part of their festive range and I love it! My one is in a medium jar, but you can get other sizes. 

This is a trio that Tanya burr released. Inside it has a nail polish, lip gloss and nail file. I have not tried them out yet, but I know that the nail polish is in the shade cookie cutter, the lip glosses in sugar and spice and lastly, the nail file is gold with white stars. 

A few blogs ago, I did a review on the snow fairy shower gel (from lush). The comforter smells exactly the same as one of their bubble bars! The cypress oil, cassis absolute and bergamot oil create an uplifting and reassuring fragrance. Personally I prefer this scent to the snow fairy one. I can't really explain what this smells like, but it is defiantly amazing! As with all the lush shower gels, it makes my skin feel smooth.

Yet again, another lush product, but this I have lip scrubs. I currently have all of them. The ones I've recently got was the Santa's and mint julips! The Santa one, is part of their Christmas range. It is a red with little hearts inside and it smells of Coke, which is a bonus! The mint julips smells like mint. Also it is a similar colour to the popcorn lip scrub.

Finally I got the Tanya burr manicure set! It has a good sparkly case with nail scissors, two files, clippers and this other thing, which I'm not sure what it is. As much as I love this, i will say I find it awkward to open and close.

The one I got was cranberry ice (as you can probably tell by the title!) 

To start off with this is a dark red colour (like cranberries!) My one is in the medium size but their are a variety of sizes. Anyway, I believe it is part of their Christmas range and it smells amazing! This is my first Yankee candle I have owned, but I will be definitely buying more! It will burn up to 65-90 hours, so you get a lot of use out of it. I just looked up on their website, and im not sure how much it costs, however, you definitely get a lot out of it. Personally I love this festive scent. To me, it smells like frosty red berries with a bit of sweetness! 

I hope you enjoyed reading my long review of this candle! In the future, I will buy the snowflake cookie and Christmas Eve Yankee candles! Also, they don't just do them in jar candles, they can form as samplers, wax tarts, car and home fragrances and tea lights!

Take your holiday season from CRISIS to CHRISTMAS with these easy tips and tricks.

Be sure to layer the tinsel on the inner branches to fill out the tree.

This is a cheap alternative to buying decorations. All you have to do is put three coats of nail varnish over it. Also it will last for years!

Use double sided tape to add a professional look.

All you need is a hot glue gun! Just find a window and use the glue gun to draw a snowflake. The good thing about this is that after Christmas you can peel it off.

This helps them from not getting lost, so the next year your wont have to buy more!

It will make them last longer.

Just spray fake snow on it! But bare in mind will look different in different coloured trees!

While it might be "just" December 8th, but Christmas is definitely around the corner! So today I bring got you 10 ways to be in the Christmas spirit!

Whether it's a real or fake it will make you feel Christmassy! Especially decorating it with cute decorations. But, to make it PERFECT you have to pick the right colour and decorations to go with it. Make sure it's something that you like.

 

Whether your 5 or 100 you can never be to young/ old for advent calendars! There are so many options to choose from! And the best thing is that you don't have to pick one with chocolate inside, you can buy ones with makeup, skincare products etc...
 

I don't know about you but making a hot chocolate with whipped cream makes me feel so Christmassy, especially if the weather outside is cold. As for the Christmas tree decorating, make it a special Christmas tradition, whether it's with your family or friends. Try a few new Christmas decoration ideas too.

 

I'm to lazy to make my own crafts, but it's a cheap alternative to buying decorations and it's fun! You can personalise them however you want, which is the best part of course!

For some, Christmas time can be a tough time. There are many individuals and families that miss out on gifts and christmas dinner. So buying presents for anyone an cheer them up and make their day. Its also a good excuse to go shopping;)

 

Tune in to Christmas stations and let the Christmas spirit fill your house and car with carols. I play music on Spotify, but you can listen to music on whatever you want! Also, I know some people sing Christians carols around the street which is also very festive.

 


Pop some popcorn and snuggle in for a night of Christmas movies. Whether you are a fan of “Elf” or you would rather watch “White Christmas,” there’s a movie out there for everyone.
 

Countdowns 

Personally I have an app where it tells me how long here is until Christmas. It makes life so much easier as you don't have to count the days (unless you want to, of course). But if you don't like the idea of having an app, there are so many alternatives.

Nothing says Christmas is coming like the arrival of Santa Claus. This is an idea for younger children. And if you have any younger siblings it would be a nice surprise to take them to one. 

 

You can decorate your room, Christmas tree, house or just look around your street at Christmas lights! It may sound boring, but trust me it makes you feel in the Christmas spirit!

This is a shower gel from lush and it smells great! You can buy it in 4 different sizes, but I bought it in the second smallest! It also is candy floss scented. Personally i love this, i use it as a shower gel, but it can be used as bubble bath! After I snow fairy my skin feels smooth and smells amazing. And yes... It does make your skin smell good... In the future I would like to try the comforter and rose jam shower gel. Even though I love this so much, I will say that's the label on the packaging can get scratched easily!

When I bought this I didn't actually know what you used it for. But you you sprinkle a bit of it on your skin and the lustre will catch the light to give your body a bit of a shimmer! This smells exactly the same as the shower gel! I don't really see the point in this, but I thought it would go well with the shower gel! Also both of these products are suitable for vegans.
